How to Make Healthy Bitter Gourd Juice

Ingredients- 1 handful fresh bitter gourd (about what you can lightly hold in one hand)
- 1 cup cold milk (200ml)

Step 1
First, to reduce the bitterness of the bitter gourd, wash it thoroughly in cold water mixed with 1 tablespoon of vinegar. The vinegar helps to mellow out the strong taste.
Step 2
After rinsing with the vinegar solution, wash the bitter gourd two more times under running clear water to remove any residual vinegar scent and impurities.
Step 3
Cut the thoroughly washed bitter gourd in half lengthwise. Then, use a spoon to scoop out and discard the white seeds and pith from the inside. It’s important to remove the seeds as they contribute to the bitterness.
Step 4
Cut the deseeded bitter gourd into manageable pieces (about 1-2 cm) so it blends easily in the mixer. This makes blending smoother and more effective.
Step 5
Place the prepared handful of bitter gourd and 1 cup of cold milk into the blender. Secure the lid tightly and blend for about 30 seconds to 1 minute, or until the mixture is very smooth. (You can adjust the amount of bitter gourd to your preference; add more if you enjoy a stronger, more bitter taste.)
