Main Ingredients- 200g Smoked Duck
- 1/2 Onion
- 3 cloves Garlic
- 1/5 Carrot
- 1 handful King Oyster Mushrooms
Seasoning- 1 Tbsp Doubanjiang (Spicy Bean Paste)
- Pinch of Black Pepper
- 1 Tbsp Doubanjiang (Spicy Bean Paste)

Cooking Instructions
Step 1
Place the smoked duck in a dry pan without any added oil. Grill it on both sides until golden brown. This process helps to render some of the duck’s natural fat, making it more tender and less greasy.
Step 2
Once the smoked duck is nicely grilled, transfer it to a plate lined with paper towels to absorb any excess oil. This step ensures the stir-fry isn’t too oily and maintains a clean flavor profile.

In a separate pan, add a little cooking oil. First, sauté the thinly sliced onion and minced garlic until fragrant. The aroma of the garlic will add a wonderful depth of flavor to the dish.

Add the julienned carrot to the pan and stir-fry it with the onions. Cook until the carrots are slightly tender.

Add the torn king oyster mushrooms and quickly stir-fry them with the other vegetables. Cooking them just until they soften slightly will retain a pleasant texture.

Now, add the key flavoring ingredient, 1 tablespoon of doubanjiang, and stir-fry until it’s well combined with all the ingredients. If you don’t have doubanjiang, you can substitute with 1/2 tablespoon of gochujang (Korean chili paste) and 1/2 tablespoon of soy sauce for a similar flavor.

Add the pre-grilled smoked duck back into the pan. Stir-fry everything together, ensuring the sauce evenly coats the duck and vegetables. This allows the duck to absorb the delicious flavors.
