Main Ingredients

  • 1 pack Smoked Chicken Breast (approx. 200-300g)
  • 1/4 Onion
  • 1/2 King Oyster Mushroom
  • 5-10 Cherry Tomatoes
  • 1/5 Zucchini (or standard zucchini)
  • 3 cloves Garlic

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

First, prepare the vegetables and garlic. Slice the onion into thick strips, and cut the king oyster mushrooms into 2-3 cm thick pieces. Cut the zucchini into similar thickness half-moons or thick strips. Lightly smash the garlic cloves with the side of a knife or slice them thinly. Leave the cherry tomatoes whole after removing their stems.

Step 1

Step 2

Cut the smoked chicken breast into bite-sized pieces, about 2-3 cm in length. Since smoked chicken breast is already cooked, cutting it too small can make it dry when grilled. It’s best to maintain a moderate size.

Step 2

Step 3

Melt 1 tablespoon of butter in a heated skillet over medium heat. Once the butter is melted, add the sliced onions and sauté until they become translucent, which will bring out their sweetness. Add the thinly sliced garlic along with the onions and sauté until fragrant. Be careful not to burn the garlic.

Step 3

Step 4

Once the onions and garlic are somewhat cooked, add the sliced zucchini and sauté together. When the zucchini starts to soften slightly, add the sliced king oyster mushrooms and stir-fry quickly over high heat. Sauté until all vegetables are well combined in the pan. Shaking the pan (‘쉐킷쉐킷’ sound) while stir-frying makes it even better.

Step 4

Step 5

Finally, add the cherry tomatoes and cook for just 1-2 minutes until they slightly soften. Season with salt to your preference, and finish with a generous amount of coarsely ground black pepper for added flavor. Spread the sautéed vegetables thinly on a plate and let them cool slightly; this helps reduce excess moisture and improves the texture.

Step 5

Step 6

Wipe the skillet clean or use it as is. Place the sliced smoked chicken breast in the skillet and grill over medium heat until golden brown on both sides. Since smoked chicken breast is already cooked, grilling it until just golden on the outside enhances its texture, making it more delicious. Avoid overcooking, as it can become dry.

Step 6

Step 7

Combine the golden-brown grilled chicken breast with the colorful sautéed vegetables and serve attractively. Enjoying it warm allows you to fully appreciate the freshness of the vegetables and the flavor of the chicken. You can also drizzle it with balsamic glaze or olive oil according to your preference. Enjoy this wonderful meal or side dish!
