Ingredients- 100g Curry-seasoned Chicken Breast
- 60g Brown Rice
- 80g Onion
- 20g Green Onion (Scallion)
- 1 slice Low-Sodium Cheese
- 50ml Water
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
Prepare all the ingredients for the dish by measuring them out. For enhanced flavor, it’s recommended to marinate the chicken breast with curry powder beforehand.

Peel and wash the onion thoroughly, then slice it thinly into strips. Wash the green onion, focusing on the white parts, and cut it into strips of similar length. Slicing them this way ensures even cooking and allows the seasonings to penetrate well during stir-frying.
Step 3
Place the chicken breast in a pan and cook over medium heat until thoroughly done. While the chicken breast is cooking, you will prepare to stir-fry the rice in another pan. You can also cut the cooked chicken breast into bite-sized pieces.

Preheat a frying pan over medium-low heat, add 50ml of water, and bring it to a boil. Maintaining this simmer helps prevent ingredients from burning and allows for a moist stir-fry.

Once the water starts boiling, add the sliced onion and green onion to the pan. Continue to stir-fry over medium-low heat until the vegetables soften and become translucent.

As you stir-fry, continue cooking until almost all the water has evaporated and the onions and green onions are tender and have released their sweetness. Be careful not to burn them, stirring gently.

Once the onions and green onions are well-stirred, add the 60g of brown rice to the pan. Gently break apart any clumps of rice with a spatula as you stir-fry.

After the brown rice is mixed well with the other ingredients, place one slice of low-sodium cheese on top of the rice. As the cheese melts, it will softly coat the rice and ingredients, adding a creamy texture and rich flavor. Stir gently over low heat until the cheese is fully melted.

Once all ingredients are stir-fried, plate the finished cheesy brown rice attractively in a bowl. Then, artfully arrange the cooked curry-seasoned chicken breast on top to complete this nutritious donburi!
