  • 1 bowl of cooked rice
  • 1.5 cups tomato sauce
  • 2 Tbsp sliced garlic
  • 1 cup frozen seafood mix
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/4 onion
  • Pinch of salt
  • Pinch of black pepper
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil

Seafood Marinade

  • Pinch of salt
  • Pinch of black pepper
  • 1 Tbsp cooking wine (or sake)

Optional Ingredients

  • Pinch of Parmesan cheese
  • Pinch of parsley flakes

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

First, finely mince the onion. Finely dicing the onion will help its sweetness meld into the sauce, creating a richer flavor.

Step 1

Step 2

Thaw the frozen seafood mix by rinsing it under cold water and then drain it well. In a bowl, combine the seafood with a pinch of salt, a pinch of black pepper, and 1 Tbsp of cooking wine. Gently mix and let it marinate for about 5 minutes. The cooking wine will help reduce any fishy odors and make the seafood more tender.

Step 2

Step 3

Heat 1 Tbsp of olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the sliced garlic and minced onion, and sauté until they become translucent and fragrant, being careful not to burn them.

Step 3

Step 4

Once the garlic and onion are aromatic, add the marinated seafood mix to the pan. Stir-fry over high heat until the seafood changes color. Avoid overcooking, as this can make the seafood tough.

Step 4

Step 5

Reduce the heat to medium. Pour in 1 cup of water and 1.5 cups of tomato sauce. Stir well and bring the mixture to a simmer. This step forms the base for your delicious risotto sauce.

Step 5

Step 6

When the sauce is bubbling, add 1 bowl of warm cooked rice. Stir everything together until the rice is well combined with the sauce. Season with a pinch of salt and pepper to your taste. The risotto is ready when the rice is moist and has absorbed the sauce. For an extra touch, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and parsley flakes before serving.
