Main Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup Macaroni
  • 4 cups Water
  • 7 Tbsp Tomato Sauce
  • 1.5 Tbsp Chicken Powder
  • A pinch of Black Pepper
  • 120g Pork (ground or finely chopped)
  • 1/2 Onion (diced)
  • 1/4 Zucchini (diced)
  • 1/2 Bell Pepper (diced)
  • A little Olive Oil
  • 1/2 Tbsp Salt (for boiling macaroni)

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

First, prepare your vegetables. Wash the onion, zucchini, and bell pepper thoroughly, then dice them into approximately 1cm cubes. In a pot, add 4 cups of water and 1/2 tablespoon of salt. Once the water reaches a rolling boil, add 2/3 cup of macaroni and cook for exactly 7 minutes and 30 seconds. It’s important to adhere to this cooking time to ensure the macaroni is perfectly al dente.

Step 2

Drain the cooked macaroni well using a colander. In a separate pan, heat a little olive oil over medium heat. Add the pork and sauté until it’s lightly browned. Then, add the diced onion, zucchini, and bell pepper to the pan. Continue to stir-fry over medium heat until the vegetables begin to soften, allowing their natural sweetness to develop.

Step 3

Pour 4 cups of water into the pan with the sautéed vegetables and pork. Stir in 7 tablespoons of tomato sauce. Add 1.5 tablespoons of chicken powder and bring the mixture to a boil over high heat for 5 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld beautifully. Once boiling, add the drained macaroni and reduce the heat to medium. Simmer for another 10 minutes, or until the macaroni is tender and the soup has reached your desired thickness. Finish with a pinch of black pepper and turn off the heat. Feel free to adjust salt and pepper to your taste.
