Wash Thoroughly: Prepare fresh pumpkin sweet potatoes. Scrub them under running water with a brush to remove any dirt or debris. It’s great to eat them with the skin on, so washing them meticulously is important.

Prepare Air Fryer and Add Sweet Potatoes: Place the sweet potatoes in the air fryer basket. Leaving some space between the sweet potatoes will help them cook evenly.

Adjust Length: If the sweet potatoes are too long for your air fryer basket, cut them in half. This will help them cook more stably inside the air fryer. Of course, you can also cook them whole.

First Bake (160°C for 30 minutes): Set the air fryer to 160°C (320°F) and bake for the first 30 minutes. During this time, the sweet potatoes will begin to soften from the inside out.
