Ingredients

  • 3 packets of chocolate chips
  • 2-3 Tbsp milk

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

First, choose a microwave-safe mug or small bowl that looks nice. Add all 3 packets of chocolate chips to the mug. These are the star of our brownie, so feel free to adjust the amount to your liking!

Step 1

Step 2

Using the back of a spoon or a fork, gently crush the chocolate chips inside the mug. Break them down into smaller pieces. This helps them melt more evenly. Aim for a consistency that’s almost like coarse crumbs.

Step 2

Step 3

Now, it’s time to add the milk for moisture. Start with 2 tablespoons of milk. Stir it into the crushed chocolate chips. If you prefer a softer, more cake-like brownie, add a third tablespoon. You’re aiming for a thick, fudgy batter consistency.

Step 3

Step 4

Place the mug with the batter into the microwave and heat on high for about 1 minute. Microwave times can vary, so check after 1 minute. If it’s not quite done, microwave in additional 10-20 second bursts. You want the edges to be set but the center to remain warm and fudgy. Be careful when removing the hot mug from the microwave! And there you have it – a super simple, incredibly quick mug brownie. Enjoy it warm for the best fudgy texture and rich chocolate flavor!
