  • Minced garlic, 1 Tbsp

  • Gochujang (Korean chili paste), 1 Tbsp
  • Oligosaccharide (or corn syrup), 2 Tbsp (adjust sweetness to taste)
  • Oyster sauce, 1 Tbsp
  • Water, 3 Tbsp

Cooking Instructions

First, briefly blanch the Vienna sausages in hot water to clean them, then rinse under cold water. This helps to reduce the inherent greasiness of the sausages and results in a cleaner flavor.

After patting the sausages dry, make 2-3 shallow cuts on each side. Making cross-shaped scores will help them unfurl beautifully like octopus tentacles when cooked, making them visually appealing and ensuring they absorb the sauce well.
