  • Pepperoni (8 slices, or to taste)
  • Ground beef (1 paper cup, approx. 100-150g)
  • Onion (1/3)
  • Celery (1 stalk)
  • Minced garlic (1 Tbsp)
  • Tomato sauce (2 paper cups, approx. 200-250ml)
  • Cream sauce (1 paper cup, approx. 100-150ml)
  • Shredded pizza cheese (2 handfuls, or to taste)
  • Olive oil (a little)
  • Salt (a little)
  • Black pepper (a little)
  • Basil (a little, dried or fresh)

Cooking Instructions

Begin by finely mincing the onion and celery. This will help them break down and meld beautifully into the sauce, enhancing its flavor.

Cook the lasagna sheets according to package directions, usually about 10 minutes in boiling water. Once cooked, rinse them under cold water to prevent sticking, then toss lightly with a bit of olive oil. This ensures each sheet remains separate and easy to layer.

Heat a pan over medium heat and add a drizzle of olive oil. Sauté the minced onion, minced garlic, and minced celery until fragrant and softened, about 5-7 minutes. The vegetables should become translucent and aromatic.

Add the ground beef to the pan and cook, breaking it up with a spoon, until it’s browned. Stir in the tomato sauce, season with salt and pepper to taste, and add the basil. Let the sauce simmer gently for a few minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
