The incredibly popular Cream Jinjjampong, now even a commercial product, can be made right in your kitchen! This dish takes the spicy Jinjjampong ramen and transforms it into a creamy, pasta-like delight by adding milk. It’s not spicy but boasts a rich, savory, and umami flavor that’s incredibly addictive. It even resembles a rosé pasta! This is my current favorite recipe, and I’d love for you to try making it with me!

Ingredients

  • 1 packet Jinjjampong ramen
  • 300ml milk
  • 100ml water
  • 2 slices processed cheese

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

First, combine the 100ml of water and 300ml of milk in a pot. It’s best to heat them together from the start to prevent the milk from scorching or sticking to the bottom.

Once the milk and water mixture comes to a boil, add the vegetable flakes and the seasoning powder from the Jinjjampong ramen packet. If you enjoy a bit of spice, feel free to add all the seasoning powder. However, to highlight the creamy flavor, I recommend adding only half of the powder initially to control the taste.

Now, add the ramen noodles and cook over medium heat. Stir occasionally to prevent the noodles from sticking together. Cook for about 2-3 minutes until the noodles are partially cooked.

When the noodles are somewhat cooked, place the two slices of processed cheese on top. The cheese will melt, making the broth even richer and creamier. Continue to simmer for another 1-2 minutes until the noodles are fully cooked and the sauce has thickened to your desired consistency. Be mindful of the heat to avoid it becoming too dry.
