Essential Ingredients- 1 Lemon
- 10 Perilla leaves
- 1 bottle Soju (360ml)
- 2 cups Cider (approx. 400ml)
- 2 cups Ice (approx. 400ml)
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, prepare the lemon. Cut half of the lemon into thin slices and squeeze the juice from the other half. The sliced lemon is for garnish, and the lemon juice will be used for flavor.
Step 2
Prepare 10 clean perilla leaves. Place the prepared lemon slices and lemon juice into a glass bottle or a mixer container. Tear the perilla leaves into bite-sized pieces and add them together. Then, using a muddler or mortar, gently muddle the ingredients until they are slightly crushed. It’s important to lightly muddle them so the perilla leaf aroma can infuse well.
Step 3
Pour 1 bottle of soju and 2 cups of cider into the container with the muddled ingredients. Stir lightly to combine everything well. Finally, add a generous amount of 2 cups of ice, and your refreshing and aromatic Perilla Leaf Mojito is complete! You can add sugar or syrup to your preference.
