Essential Ingredients

  • 1 bag of Homerun Ball snacks (approx. 9-10 pieces)
  • 1 bag of stick crackers (Pepero sticks) (approx. 9-10 sticks)
  • 1 Chocolate pen (black or any color you like)
  • 1 bar of white chocolate (approx. 100g)

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

1. Prepare the white chocolate for the snowman’s body. Place the white chocolate in a heatproof bowl set over a saucepan of simmering water (double boiler method), stirring gently until completely melted. Ensure the water temperature stays around 50-60°C to prevent the chocolate from burning. Once smooth and melted, you’ll have your coating chocolate.

Step 1

Step 2

2. Get your Homerun Balls and stick crackers ready. We’ll be using two Homerun Balls for each snowman. Gently insert one end of a Pepero stick into one Homerun Ball to secure it, then stack another Homerun Ball on top to create the head and body of your snowman. Be careful not to push too hard, as the Homerun Balls might break.

Step 2

Step 3

3. Evenly coat the assembled Homerun Ball ‘snowmen’ with the melted white chocolate. You can use a spoon or a small spatula to spread the chocolate smoothly for a neat finish. Make sure to cover all the nooks and crannies.

Step 3

Step 4

4. Place the chocolate-coated snowman Pepero onto a cooling rack or a plate lined with parchment paper. Leave some space between each one to prevent them from sticking together as the chocolate sets.

Step 4

Step 5

5. To help the chocolate set faster, place the Pepero in the freezer for about 1 minute. Avoid freezing for too long, as this can cause the chocolate to turn white or affect its taste.

Step 5

Step 6

6. Now it’s time to draw the snowman’s face and buttons! Use a chocolate pen, easily found at stores like Daiso. Draw eyes, a nose, and a mouth with a black chocolate pen, and add button details to the body for a cute snowman. Feel free to use other colored chocolate pens for variety.

Step 7

7. You can either package the finished Snowman Homerun Ball Pepero as is, or have fun decorating them with children! Letting everyone express their creativity with drawings will surely fill the room with laughter. Don’t worry about perfection; the process of creating your own unique snowman Pepero will be a joyous memory in itself!
