Silky Milk Pudding (No Gelatin, No Eggs)
Super Simple Milk Pudding Recipe without Gelatin or Eggs! Your Perfect Dessert Fix♡
Incredibly smooth and melts in your mouth! This is a delightful dessert anyone can easily make.
Ingredients- 200ml Milk
- 3 Tbsp Sugar
- Pinch of Salt
- 2 Tbsp Starch (Cornstarch or Potato Starch)
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
In a clean saucepan, combine the milk (200ml), sugar (3 Tbsp), a pinch of salt, and starch (2 Tbsp). Whisk everything together until smooth and well combined, ensuring there are no lumps of starch. It’s helpful to stir gently at first to dissolve the sugar and salt as well.
Step 2
Place the saucepan over low heat. Continuously stir the mixture as it heats up until it thickens to a creamy, pudding-like consistency. Keep the heat low to prevent scorching and be sure to stir constantly, scraping the bottom and sides of the pot. Watch as it transforms into a smooth, luscious texture.
Step 3
Lightly grease the inside of your serving cups or ramekins with a little cooking oil or a thin layer of melted butter. This step will make unmolding the pudding much easier later on. Carefully pour the warm, thickened milk mixture into the prepared cups.
Step 4
To ensure a smooth surface, gently tap the cups on the counter a few times. This will help release any trapped air bubbles and create an even top. Cover the cups with plastic wrap or lids and refrigerate for at least 3 hours, or until firm. Once chilled and set, your delightful milk pudding is ready to enjoy!
