Quick & Easy Spam Fried Rice Recipe
Simple yet incredibly delicious! Enjoy this satisfying Spam fried rice.
Ingredients- About 1 can of Spam (approx. 200g)
- A handful of green onions (approx. 30g)
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 Tbsp butter
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
Dice the Spam into bite-sized pieces, about 1cm thick. For a softer texture, you can mash the Spam using a spoon. Place the Spam in a resealable plastic bag and press down firmly with the back of a spoon to mash it.

Wash and finely chop the green onions. Peel the garlic clove by pressing it with the side of your knife, then mince it finely. This will add a rich garlic aroma to your fried rice.

Heat a pan over medium heat. Add the mashed Spam and 1 tablespoon of butter.

Sauté the Spam until it’s golden brown and slightly crispy. The butter will melt and enhance the Spam’s savory flavor, releasing a wonderful aroma.

Once the Spam is well-fried, add the minced garlic and chopped green onions to the pan. Stir-fry them until the garlic becomes fragrant.

Stir-fry everything together thoroughly with a spatula, ensuring all ingredients are well combined. It’s best to cook over medium-low heat to prevent sticking.

Add warm cooked rice to the pan and stir-fry, mixing it evenly with the other ingredients. Break up any clumps of rice with your spatula for perfectly fluffy fried rice. This recipe relies on the saltiness of the Spam for seasoning, but feel free to add salt, pepper, or soy sauce to taste according to your preference.
