- 1 Tbsp Soy Sauce (provides the fundamental savory flavor)
- 1/2 Tbsp Oligosaccharide (adds shine and sweetness)
- Canola Oil (or cooking oil) (1-2 Tbsp, for tender stir-frying and enhancing flavor)
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, cut the seafood ball fish cakes into bite-sized pieces. Place the fish cakes in a pan, add 1 tablespoon of soy sauce, and gently toss to coat the fish cakes.
Step 2
Next, add 1/2 tablespoon of oligosaccharide and 1-2 tablespoons of canola oil. Stir-fry over medium heat, being careful not to burn the fish cakes. Ensure the seasoning is evenly distributed. You can use other cooking oils instead of canola oil.
Step 3
Wash the scallions thoroughly, trim the roots, and cut them into lengths of about 3-4 cm. Add the chopped scallions to the pan with the fish cakes and stir-fry together. It’s best to cook until the scallions are slightly wilted but still have a bit of crunch.
Step 4
Stir-fry briefly to keep the scallions crisp, then sprinkle a generous amount of toasted sesame seeds over the top. The sesame seeds add a nutty aroma and complete the overall flavor balance. Turn off the heat and give it a final gentle toss.
Step 5
Transfer the delicious stir-fried seafood fish cakes to a serving plate. Enjoy this dish with warm rice or as a delightful accompaniment to a cold beer. It’s a wonderful dish that everyone will love!
