Graduation Trip Special: Making a Cute Doraemon Lunchbox (Template Included!)
Hello everyone! Today, I’m sharing a special lunchbox recipe for my child’s precious kindergarten graduation trip. As this might be the last character lunchbox we make, I’ve poured my heart into creating this one featuring the beloved character ‘Doraemon’. Your child will absolutely love it!
Lunchbox Ingredients- Gimbap seaweed sheet
- Sliced cheese (white)
- Cherry tomatoes
- Carrot
- Fruits (chosen according to child’s preference)
- Corn kernels
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, find and print a cute Doraemon image from the internet. We’ll use this template to decorate the lunchbox. It’s helpful to have images from various angles to reference Doraemon’s face shape, eyes, nose, mouth, and whiskers.
Step 2
To create the white face part of the bento, place a paper cup over a slice of white cheese and cut it into a circle. Then, place the printed template over a sheet of gimbap seaweed and carefully cut out Doraemon’s eyes, nose, mouth, and the thin, delicate whiskers. The whiskers are very fine, so work with precision, perhaps using a toothpick to help cut and place them. Carefully attach these cut-out seaweed pieces onto the cheese circles to complete Doraemon’s face.
Step 3
Doraemon’s signature round red nose and the bell on his collar will be highlighted using the skin of cherry tomatoes and thinly sliced carrots. Peel the cherry tomatoes thinly to create round shapes for the nose, and slice the carrot very thinly, cutting small circles or rings for the bell decoration. Attaching these will bring Doraemon’s features to life.
Step 4
For a healthy and enjoyable snack, we’ve prepared fresh fruits that my son loves, along with sweet corn kernels. Cut the fruits into bite-sized pieces, and drain the corn kernels well before packing.
