These days, it’s common to eat alone and often rely on quick meals like tomato sauce pasta or simple rice bowls. Today, we’re introducing a hearty and delicious ‘Cheesy Egg Rice’ that you can whip up in minutes using just your microwave! Enjoy a rich flavor with simple ingredients!
Ingredients- 2 eggs
- 1 bowl of warm rice
- Spam (or ham), appropriate amount
- 2 Tbsp chopped green onions
- 1 Tbsp soy sauce
- 1 slice cheddar cheese
- Mozzarella cheese (to taste)
- 1/2 tsp salt
- Pinch of black pepper
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, crack 2 eggs into a bowl. Add 1/2 tsp salt and a pinch of black pepper to eliminate any eggy smell and enhance the flavor. Lightly whisk them with a fork.

Place 1 bowl of warm rice into a microwave-safe dish. Warm rice helps the ingredients mix well and the cheese melt beautifully. Pour the whisked egg mixture evenly over the rice.

Now, let’s prepare the flavor-boosting additions. Sprinkle 2 Tbsp of chopped green onions evenly over the rice, and drizzle 1 Tbsp of soy sauce. Dice Spam (or your preferred ham) into bite-sized cubes.
