Ingredients

  • 1 packet of ramen
  • 1 bowl of bean sprouts (approx. 100g)
  • 3 shrimp
  • 1/3 cup of clams (approx. 50g)
  • A little bit of green onion

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

First, pour water into the pot and add the soup base. Adding the soup base early allows the bean sprouts and seafood to infuse their flavors, creating a delicious broth without needing extra salt.

Step 1

Step 2

Add the washed bean sprouts to the pot. Bean sprouts contribute a wonderfully fresh and clean taste to the ramen.

Step 2

Step 3

Now, add the clams. Clams will enhance the umami of the broth, making the seafood ramen soup even richer and more profound.

Step 3

Step 4

Cover the pot and let it boil until the bean sprouts are fully cooked. Wait for the refreshing flavor to meld into the soup as the bean sprouts cook. You won’t need to add extra salt.

Step 4

Step 5

Once the bean sprouts are cooked and the broth is boiling, add the ramen noodles. If you have any other seafood (like raw shrimp), now is a great time to add them in.

Step 5

Step 6

Finely chop some green onions and sprinkle them on top of the ramen. Everyone knows how to boil ramen, but to get perfectly chewy noodles, try gently lifting the noodles with chopsticks and letting some cool air in as they cook. This will make them wonderfully springy! Enjoy cooking!

Step 6

Step 7

I added 3 shrimp that were left over from grilling shrimp. Since they were already cooked, I added them near the end, but their flavor still came out beautifully in the broth, making the ramen even more delicious.

Step 7

Step 8

And there you have it! A refreshing and savory bean sprout seafood ramen, perfect for a hangover cure or a satisfying meal.
