Sweet & Tangy Seasoning

  • 1/2 Tbsp minced garlic
  • 1/2 Tbsp soy sauce
  • 1/3 Tbsp anchovy sauce (or sand lance fish sauce)
  • 1 Tbsp gochugaru (Korean chili flakes)
  • 1 Tbsp rice vinegar (adjust for tanginess)
  • 1 Tbsp sugar (adjust for sweetness)
  • 1 Tbsp sesame oil
  • A pinch of sesame seeds (for garnish)

Cooking Instructions

First, thoroughly wash the fresh chives under running water. Rinse them carefully to remove any dirt or debris. Drain them completely in a colander; any remaining moisture can dilute the flavor of the final dish. Once drained, cut the chives into manageable lengths of about 4-5 cm.
