Classic Ranch Dressing with Professional Chef’s Touch
Chef’s Secret Recipe for Authentic Ranch Dressing
Hello everyone! I’m sharing this recipe, a culmination of over 10 years of experience as a professional chef, with the primary goal of offering a small contribution to those aspiring to open their own restaurants. While this ranch dressing recipe may seem simple, I confidently share it as it’s one I’ve developed and refined through extensive research and practical application in my culinary career. Although I’m no longer actively working in a kitchen, this recipe is built upon my years of experience and data. Unfortunately, due to my current circumstances, I am unable to provide photos of the preparation process or the finished dish; the images used are for illustrative purposes. I will promptly remove or edit any content if it causes issues. Please note that all my recipes are designed with commercial kitchen standards in mind and may be produced in large quantities, potentially making them less suitable for a typical home kitchen. If you plan to make this at home, I recommend scaling down the recipe to about 1/10th of the quantities listed. My sincere hope is that this recipe serves as a valuable resource for aspiring restaurateurs. I kindly ask for your understanding of this background information when reviewing the recipe.
Ingredients- Mayonnaise 100g
- Greek Yogurt 50g (use a thick, Greek-style yogurt for best results)
- Honey 30g (adjust sweetness to your preference)
- Fresh Lemon Juice 2 Tbsp
- Salt to taste
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
Begin by placing 100g of mayonnaise into a mixing bowl. Using mayonnaise at room temperature can help achieve a smoother consistency.
Step 2
Add 50g of Greek yogurt to the bowl with the mayonnaise. Using a spatula or whisk, thoroughly combine the mayonnaise and yogurt until you achieve a smooth, uniform texture. It’s important to ensure there are no lumps.
Step 3
Once the mayonnaise and yogurt are well combined, add the remaining ingredients: 30g of honey, 2 tablespoons of fresh lemon juice, and a pinch of salt. Mix everything together again until all ingredients are fully incorporated. Taste and adjust the salt or honey to suit your preference. Transfer the finished ranch dressing to an airtight container and store it in the refrigerator. For optimal freshness, it’s recommended to consume within 1-2 weeks.
