Main Ingredients- 300g Beef Sirloin, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 Bell Pepper, deseeded and cut into squares
- 3 Button Mushrooms, cleaned and sliced
- 1/2 Onion, peeled and cut into squares
- 3 cloves Garlic, thinly sliced
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
Begin by gently patting the beef sirloin dry to remove excess moisture, then slice it into bite-sized pieces. Sprinkle the sliced beef with herb salt for seasoning and let it marinate for a short while. Herb salt helps to remove any gamey odor and enhances the beef’s flavor.
Step 2
Heat a pan over medium heat and add 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Add the thinly sliced garlic and stir-fry gently, being careful not to burn it, until a fragrant aroma is released. This step infuses the oil with the garlic’s flavor.
Step 3
Once the garlic is fragrant, add the marinated beef sirloin to the pan and stir-fry. Cook over high heat to seal in the juices and brown the beef on all sides. Continue stir-frying until the beef is about halfway cooked.
Step 4
When the beef is about halfway cooked and has changed color, add the square-cut onion to the pan. Continue to stir-fry until the onions become translucent and slightly softened, which will also add a touch of sweetness to the dish.
Step 5
Once the onions are partially cooked, add the square-cut bell pepper and sliced button mushrooms. Stir-fry everything together quickly over high heat to maintain the vegetables’ crisp texture. Be mindful not to overcook the mushrooms, as they can release water.
Step 6
When all ingredients are cooked and any excess moisture has evaporated from the pan, season with a pinch of black pepper to enhance the flavor, according to your preference. Pepper complements the savory notes of the beef wonderfully.
Step 7
Transfer the well-stir-fried beef and vegetable mixture to a serving plate. Garnish with a sprinkle of parsley flakes for an attractive presentation and an added aromatic touch. Serve immediately while warm for the best taste and texture!
