Ingredients (1:1:1 Ratio)

  • 1 Tbsp Instant Coffee
  • 1 Tbsp Sugar
  • 1 Tbsp Hot Water

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

First, prepare your ingredients for the Dalgona coffee cream: instant coffee, sugar, and hot water. The standard ratio is 1:1:1. If you prefer a stronger coffee flavor, you can increase all ingredients proportionally, for example, using 2 Tbsp of each. (e.g., 1 Tbsp Instant Coffee, 1 Tbsp Sugar, 1 Tbsp Hot Water)

Step 1

Step 2

Combine the instant coffee, sugar, and hot water in a bowl. Using a hand mixer or a whisk, whip the mixture vigorously until it becomes thick and creamy. It will initially look watery, but with continuous whipping, it will gradually thicken.

Step 2

Step 3

After about 10 minutes of whipping, you’ll achieve a smooth, luscious, and creamy Dalgona coffee topping, similar in texture to a caramel sauce. To test if it’s ready, lift your whisk or a spoon; the cream should hold its shape without immediately falling off.

Step 3

Step 4

Fill a glass with about 2/3 milk. Gently spoon the fluffy Dalgona coffee cream on top of the milk. The contrast between the cool, smooth milk and the rich, sweet, frothy coffee cream is absolutely delightful. Feel free to add ice cubes if you prefer a colder drink.
