Crispy Banana Chip Quesadilla (Chip-sadia)
The Ultimate Movie Snack: Easy Chip-sadia Recipe
This recipe was created for the CGV contest! It’s incredibly simple to make and is the perfect snack to enjoy while watching a movie. We’ve named it ‘Chip-sadia,’ a delightful fusion of banana chips and quesadillas. Enjoy this easy and delicious treat!
Main Ingredients- 10 Banana chips (can be adjusted to taste)
- 1 Flour tortilla (flour tortillas recommended for a softer texture)
Sweet Spread- 20g Chocolate spread or Nutella (other spreads can be used as preferred)
- 20g Chocolate spread or Nutella (other spreads can be used as preferred)
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, gather all your ingredients to prepare for making the delicious Chip-sadia! Handle the banana chips gently to prevent them from breaking.
Step 2
Next, prepare a frying pan. Heat it over low to medium-low heat. Lightly toast the tortilla on both sides until it’s slightly golden and pliable. This step enhances the chewy texture. Toast for about 1 minute per side, being careful not to burn it.
Step 3
Spread the chocolate spread evenly over half of the toasted tortilla. Apply a thin layer; too much spread might ooze out during cooking.
Step 4
Arrange the 10 crispy banana chips neatly over the side with the chocolate spread. The sweetness of the banana chips will wonderfully complement the spread.
Step 5
Fold the tortilla in half to create a crescent shape. Place it back in the lightly heated pan and grill over low heat until both sides are golden brown and slightly crisp. The goal is to gently warm and meld the banana chips and spread. Once cooked, cut the Chip-sadia into easy-to-eat portions and serve immediately for the best experience!
