15-Minute Beef and Bean Sprout Fried Rice
Quick & Delicious Beef and Bean Sprout Fried Rice in Just 15 Minutes!
For busy working moms, this recipe is a lifesaver! It’s incredibly simple, quick to make, and uses readily available ingredients. As a working mom myself, I know the struggle of finding time for complex cooking. I prefer straightforward methods – otherwise, I might just grab takeout! This recipe is perfect for those who appreciate simplicity and deliciousness without the fuss.
Ingredients
- 600g Korean Beef (Bulgogi cut or similar, thinly sliced)
- 1 large handful of fresh Bean Sprouts
- 2-3 bowls of cooked Rice (adjust to your preference)
- 1 Tbsp Minced Garlic
- 1-2 Tbsp Soy Sauce (adjust to taste)
- 1 Tbsp Sesame Oil (for aroma and flavor)
- 1 tsp Toasted Sesame Seeds
- 1 Tbsp Chopped Scallions (optional)
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, heat a pan over medium heat. Add the thinly sliced beef. (Using bulgogi cut makes it easy to handle and adds a nice texture to the fried rice. Ground beef works too, but thinly sliced gives a better visual and mouthfeel.) Stir-fry the beef with minced garlic and a pinch of pepper until it’s no longer pink.
Step 2
At this stage, a drizzle of good quality sesame oil will enhance the aroma beautifully. (This sesame oil from my mom is particularly delicious!)
Step 3
Once the beef is partially cooked, add the cooked rice and fresh bean sprouts to the pan. Pour in 1-2 tablespoons of soy sauce. Stir-fry everything together evenly, mixing as you go. Be careful not to overcook the bean sprouts; they should retain a slight crispness for the best texture. (Oh dear, I almost forgot the scallions! They add so much flavor. Please remember to add them!)
Step 4
And there you have it – perfectly cooked fried rice in under 15 minutes! It’s ideal for a busy breakfast or a quick dinner. Finish with a swirl of sesame oil and a sprinkle of toasted sesame seeds for extra flavor and fragrance. Serve it up, and you’re done! Isn’t that easy? This is my kind of cooking.
Step 5
See? Super easy! And for around $10 USD, you can make enough for 4 servings, making it an incredible value.
Step 6
This Korean beef and bean sprout fried rice is not only delicious and generous in portion but also incredibly quick and easy to make. It’s truly the best! Enjoy your meal! ♡
