Garlic Sauce- 60g unsalted butter (softened at room temperature)
- 2 Tbsp honey (or corn syrup) (adjust sweetness to your taste)
- 2 Tbsp minced garlic (using freshly minced garlic will enhance the flavor)
- 1.5 Tbsp dried parsley flakes (for color and aroma)
- 60g unsalted butter (softened at room temperature)
- 2 Tbsp honey (or corn syrup) (adjust sweetness to your taste)
- 2 Tbsp minced garlic (using freshly minced garlic will enhance the flavor)
- 1.5 Tbsp dried parsley flakes (for color and aroma)
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
Place 60g of butter in the microwave and heat for about 1 minute and 30 seconds until completely melted. It’s helpful to check on it periodically to prevent splattering. You can also melt it using a double boiler.
Step 2
To the melted butter, add 2 tablespoons of honey (or corn syrup) and 2 tablespoons of minced garlic. Mix well with a whisk or fork until smooth and no lumps remain.
Step 3
Add 1.5 tablespoons of dried parsley flakes to the garlic butter mixture and mix again until evenly combined. Your delicious garlic bread sauce is now ready. The consistency of the sauce may vary depending on how melted the butter is.
Step 4
Generously spread the prepared garlic sauce evenly over the top, sides, and even the bottom of each of the 8 baguette slices. Applying plenty of sauce will make it even more delicious.
Step 5
Line the air fryer basket with parchment paper. This will make cleaning up much easier later.
Step 6
Arrange the baguette slices, coated with garlic sauce, neatly on the parchment paper in the air fryer. If you have any remaining garlic sauce, spread it on top of the bread for an even richer flavor.
Step 7
Set the air fryer temperature to 185°C (365°F) and bake for 8 minutes. After 8 minutes, flip the bread slices and bake for another 8 minutes on the other side. Adjust the cooking time based on the thickness of your bread and your air fryer’s specifications.
Step 8
Remove the warm garlic bread from the air fryer and let it cool slightly. Be careful when handling, as the bread can crumble if handled while too hot. Now it’s time to enjoy your homemade garlic bread!
