A wholesome one-bowl meal for busy working moms, perfect for fussy eaters! Introducing our delicious Beef Inari Sushi, specially made for your little ones. It’s a nutritious and convenient option that even picky eaters will love.
Main Ingredients- 60g ground beef (choose a tender cut suitable for babies)
- 8 pieces of inari sushi pockets (pre-seasoned)
- 100g cooked rice, warm
- 5g unsalted butter (can be substituted with baby-safe oil like olive or canola oil)
Seasoning- 1 Tbsp sesame oil
- 0.5 Tbsp cooking sake (to remove odor)
- 0.5 tsp sushi vinegar from the inari sushi kit (adjust to taste)
- 1 Tbsp sesame oil
- 0.5 Tbsp cooking sake (to remove odor)
- 0.5 tsp sushi vinegar from the inari sushi kit (adjust to taste)
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
Select tender ground beef suitable for your baby’s consumption. I used pre-ground beef for convenience and speed.
Step 2
It’s important to remove any excess blood from the ground beef. Gently pat it dry with paper towels or soak it in cold water for no more than 10 minutes. Avoid soaking for too long, as it can cause the meat to lose its juices.
Step 3
Preheat a pan over medium-low heat, melt the unsalted butter (or oil), and add the drained ground beef. Stir-fry over high heat until the beef is cooked through. Add half a tablespoon of cooking sake to eliminate any gamey odors. Continue to cook until the beef is fully done.
Step 4
Place the well-cooked ground beef on top of the warm rice. (If you wish to add other baby-friendly ingredients like sautéed vegetables or baby food powder, you can do so at this stage.)
Step 5
Add 1 tablespoon of sesame oil for a nutty and aromatic flavor.
Step 6
To reduce the sourness, add only half a teaspoon of the sushi vinegar provided in the inari sushi kit. Taste and adjust the amount as needed, as babies can be sensitive to tart flavors. Gently mix the rice and beef using a spatula or spoon, being careful not to mash the rice grains.
Step 7
Carefully open each inari pocket and gently press the beef and rice mixture inside. Fill them firmly but avoid overstuffing, which could cause them to break.
Step 8
Voila! Your delicious Baby Beef Inari Sushi is ready! These bite-sized sushi rolls are perfect for little hands and packed with nutrition. Enjoy! ♥
