Main Ingredients- 1kg Beef Brisket (thinly sliced)
- 1 Onion
- 1 Bowl of Cooked Rice
- Mozzarella Cheese (to taste)
Bulgogi Marinade Ingredients- 2 Tbsp Oyster Sauce
- 2 Tbsp Soy Sauce
- 1 Tbsp Minced Garlic
- 4 Tbsp Cooking Wine (Mirin or similar)
- 2 Tbsp Honey
- 1 Tbsp Sugar
- Chopped Green Onion (optional)
- Gochujang (Korean chili paste) (optional, for spicy flavor)
- 2 Tbsp Oyster Sauce
- 2 Tbsp Soy Sauce
- 1 Tbsp Minced Garlic
- 4 Tbsp Cooking Wine (Mirin or similar)
- 2 Tbsp Honey
- 1 Tbsp Sugar
- Chopped Green Onion (optional)
- Gochujang (Korean chili paste) (optional, for spicy flavor)
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
Rinse the beef brisket to remove excess blood. Place the beef in a bowl and soak in cold water for about 10-15 minutes. This step helps to eliminate any gamey odor and ensures a cleaner taste.
Step 2
Thinly slice the onion. Slicing the onion thinly will help it cook evenly and blend well with the beef.
Step 3
Prepare the delicious bulgogi marinade. In a small bowl, combine 2 tablespoons of oyster sauce, 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, 1 tablespoon of minced garlic, 4 tablespoons of cooking wine, 2 tablespoons of honey, and 1 tablespoon of sugar. Stir well until the sugar is dissolved. If you prefer a spicy kick, you can add a little gochujang.
Step 4
Marinate the beef and onions. Add the drained beef brisket and sliced onions to the marinade. Gently toss to combine, ensuring everything is well coated. Let it marinate for about 10 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
Step 5
Stir-fry the bulgogi. Heat a wok or skillet over medium heat. Add the marinated beef and onions and stir-fry until the onions are translucent and the beef is fully cooked through. Avoid cooking over high heat, as this can make the beef tough.
Step 6
Mix with rice. Place the cooked bulgogi over a bowl of cooked rice and gently mix them together. Adjust seasoning to your preference if needed.
Step 7
Top with cheese and microwave. Arrange the bibimbap attractively in a serving bowl. Generously sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the top. Microwave for 1-2 minutes, or until the cheese is fully melted and bubbly.
Step 8
Serve and enjoy. Present the hot and gooey cheese bulgogi bibimbap immediately to your table. Enjoy this satisfying and delicious one-bowl meal!
