I recently made black olive ciabatta bread! @6938398 Today, I’m sharing a delicious ciabatta sandwich recipe using that homemade bread. Let’s get started!
Main Ingredients- 1 Black olive ciabatta
Other Ingredients- 2 slices Pork neck bacon
- 17g Onion
- 10g Butter

Cooking Instructions
Step 1
Prepare all the ingredients for your delicious ciabatta sandwich!

Step 2
Thinly slice the onion. To mellow its sharp flavor, soak the sliced onion in cold water for about 10 minutes. This will make it sweeter and less pungent. After soaking, drain the onion thoroughly using a sieve to remove excess water.

Step 3
Carefully slice the ciabatta bread in half horizontally. It’s best to use a serrated knife and a gentle sawing motion to avoid squishing the bread.

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Place the halved ciabatta, cut-side up, on the prepared baking sheet.

Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (390°F) for about 5 minutes, or until the cut side of the ciabatta is lightly golden brown and slightly toasted. This step adds a pleasant crispness to the sandwich.

Here’s the ciabatta after toasting! It’s beautifully golden and ready for filling.

Spread butter evenly on the toasted inner surfaces of both halves of the ciabatta. The butter will add richness and help the fillings meld together.
