Main Ingredients- 3 heads of Bok Choy
- 200g Pork Tenderloin
Seasoning Ingredients- 2 Tbsp Soy Sauce
- 1.5 Tbsp Oligosaccharide (or honey/corn syrup)
- 1 tsp Minced Garlic
- A pinch of Black Pepper
- 1 Tbsp Oyster Sauce
- A little Sesame Oil
- 1 Tbsp Toasted Sesame Seeds
- 1 Tbsp Olive Oil
- 2 Tbsp Soy Sauce
- 1.5 Tbsp Oligosaccharide (or honey/corn syrup)
- 1 tsp Minced Garlic
- A pinch of Black Pepper
- 1 Tbsp Oyster Sauce
- A little Sesame Oil
- 1 Tbsp Toasted Sesame Seeds
- 1 Tbsp Olive Oil
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
Wash the 3 heads of bok choy thoroughly under cold running water. Separate the leaves and drain them very well. Ensuring the bok choy is dry will prevent excess water from forming during cooking.
Step 2
Slice the 200g of pork tenderloin into bite-sized pieces. In a bowl, combine the pork tenderloin with 2 Tbsp soy sauce, 1.5 Tbsp oligosaccharide, a pinch of black pepper, and 1 tsp minced garlic.
Step 3
Gently mix the ingredients with your hands to marinate the pork tenderloin evenly. Let it sit for about 5-10 minutes to tenderize and enhance the flavor.
Step 4
Heat 1 Tbsp of olive oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat. Add the marinated pork tenderloin and begin to stir-fry. Cooking over high heat helps seal in the juices, keeping the meat tender.
Step 5
Continue to stir-fry the pork until it is fully cooked and any excess moisture has evaporated. Stir-frying until the pork is quite dry ensures a cleaner taste without greasiness.
Step 6
Add the drained bok choy and 1 Tbsp oyster sauce to the pan. Stir-fry rapidly over high heat for about 1-2 minutes. The key is to cook the bok choy just until it wilts slightly, maintaining its crisp texture.
Step 7
Turn off the heat. Drizzle in a little sesame oil and sprinkle with 1 Tbsp toasted sesame seeds. Toss gently to combine. Your healthy and delicious Bok Choy and Pork Tenderloin Stir-Fry is ready – perfect for a diet meal or a side dish for kids! (Tip: For added color and a touch of spice, you can stir-fry some thinly sliced red chili peppers along with the bok choy. I omitted them here for my children.)
