  • 1 Tbsp Sesame Oil
  • 1 Tbsp Toasted Sesame Seeds

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

Bring 1 liter of water to a rolling boil in a pot. Once boiling, add 100g of buckwheat noodles and cook for 6 minutes, or according to package directions. Be careful not to overcook, as the noodles can become mushy. Immediately rinse the cooked noodles under cold running water to remove excess starch, then drain them thoroughly in a colander.

In a bowl, combine the drained buckwheat noodles with the seasoning ingredients for the noodles: 1 Tbsp soy sauce, 2 tsp sugar, 1/2 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp minced garlic, 1 Tbsp sesame oil, and 1 Tbsp toasted sesame seeds. Gently mix until the noodles are evenly coated with the seasoning.

Finely chop 100g of pickled napa cabbage, ensuring any excess saltiness has been removed. In a separate bowl, toss the chopped pickled cabbage with the seasoning ingredients: 1 tsp sugar, 1 Tbsp sesame oil, and 1 Tbsp toasted sesame seeds. Mix well to coat the cabbage, preserving its crunchy texture.
