Main Ingredients- 100g Beef for Bulgogi
- 1/4 Onion
- 1/2 Green Onion
- Small amount of Carrot
- 80g Wide Rice Noodles
Marinade- 100g Water
- 1 Tbsp Pear Juice
- 6 Tbsp Soy Sauce
- 3 Tbsp Sugar
- 1/2 Tbsp Minced Garlic
- Pinch of Black Pepper
- Drizzle of Sesame Oil
- 100g Water
- 1 Tbsp Pear Juice
- 6 Tbsp Soy Sauce
- 3 Tbsp Sugar
- 1/2 Tbsp Minced Garlic
- Pinch of Black Pepper
- Drizzle of Sesame Oil
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
Prepare all your ingredients. Soak the wide rice noodles in water according to package directions. Pat the beef dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture, ensuring a cleaner taste. It’s also helpful to mix the marinade beforehand to save time. In a bowl, combine water, pear juice, soy sauce, sugar, minced garlic, black pepper, and sesame oil. Stir until the sugar is dissolved to create the marinade.
Step 2
Slice the vegetables. Thinly julienne the onion and carrot. Cut the green onion diagonally for a more appealing presentation.
Step 3
Heat a lightly oiled pan over medium-low heat. Add the sliced onion and sauté until it becomes translucent. Cooking the onion well brings out its natural sweetness and enhances the overall flavor.
Step 4
Once the onion is translucent, add the bulgogi beef and julienned carrot to the pan. Pour in 2 tablespoons of the prepared marinade. Stir-fry everything together, ensuring the beef and vegetables are evenly coated and the flavors meld. Continue cooking until the beef is about halfway done, allowing the ingredients to absorb the delicious seasoning.
Step 5
When the beef is half-cooked, add the soaked rice noodles and another ladleful of the marinade to the pan. Continue to stir-fry until the noodles are tender and have absorbed the sauce, and the beef is fully cooked. It’s best to cook over medium heat to prevent the noodles from becoming mushy.
Step 6
Once the noodles are tender and the sauce has thickened slightly, coating everything beautifully, your Bulgogi Noodles are ready! Serve immediately while hot to enjoy the delightful chewy texture of the noodles and the rich, savory flavor of the bulgogi sauce. Enjoy your delicious creation!
