Today, I’ve prepared a quick and easy ‘Buttery Braised Soy Sauce Fried Rice’ perfect for busy mornings. I usually love to eat plain rice mixed with soy-braised eggs as a side dish. This time, I decided to make it even more special by frying the rice with the braised soy sauce seasoning. I’ve also added butter to enhance the rich, savory flavor. This dish is so delicious, it’s sure to win over even picky eaters! It’s a simple yet incredibly satisfying meal that you absolutely shouldn’t miss.

  • 3 Tbsp Soy-braised Egg Liquid
  • 1.5 Bowls Cooked Rice

Heat a pan generously and add oil. Crack one egg into the pan and scramble it. The fluffy scrambled eggs will add a wonderful soft texture to your fried rice.

Push the scrambled eggs to one side of the pan and add the cooked rice. I used defrosted cold rice from my freezer – fried rice is an excellent way to use up leftover rice! Break up any clumps of rice and stir-fry until the grains are separated.

Now it’s time to add the butter, the key ingredient for that rich aroma. Add about 0.5 tablespoon of butter onto the rice. Stir-fry well until the butter melts and coats each grain of rice evenly.

Then, add about 3 tablespoons of the reserved soy-braised egg liquid and stir-fry to combine. (My husband loves the braised egg liquid, so I tend to make extra, and it works perfectly for fried rice!
