Cheesy Stir-Fried Ramen
Super Easy Cheesy Stir-Fried Ramen Recipe
Craving ramen late at night but worried about bloating from the broth? This stir-fried ramen recipe, made without broth, is the perfect solution! It’s a quick and delicious way to satisfy your noodle cravings.
Ingredients- 1 packet of instant ramen noodles
- 1/4 onion
- A small bunch of green onions
- A little bit of carrot
- 1 slice of cheese or a handful of shredded cheese
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, prepare all the ingredients for the recipe. You’ll need one packet of ramen noodles, and feel free to use any leftover vegetables you have in your fridge, such as onion, green onions, and carrots. Wash all the vegetables thoroughly.
Step 2
Slice the prepared onion, green onions, and carrot into bite-sized pieces (about 0.5 cm thick, julienned or diced). Heat a little oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the chopped vegetables and stir-fry until they are slightly softened.
Step 3
In a separate pot, bring plenty of water to a boil. Once boiling, add the ramen noodles. Cook them for about 2/3 of the time indicated on the ramen package, meaning slightly less than fully cooked. This prevents the noodles from becoming too mushy.
Step 4
Add the par-cooked ramen noodles and the entire ramen soup base packet to the pan with the stir-fried vegetables. Toss everything together to coat the noodles and vegetables with the seasoning.
Step 5
Now, let’s finish cooking the noodles. Add about one ladleful of the noodle cooking water (the water the ramen was boiled in) to the pan. This will create a light sauce and help the noodles cook thoroughly while absorbing the flavors. Stir-fry over medium heat until the noodles are perfectly cooked and the sauce has nicely coated everything.
Step 6
Transfer the delicious cheesy stir-fried ramen to a serving plate. Top with a slice of cheese to melt or sprinkle with shredded cheese. Your cheesy stir-fried ramen is now complete! Enjoy it immediately while it’s warm for that satisfying cheesy pull.
