Cherry Blossom Rolled Omelet
[Egg Recipe] Beautiful Cherry Blossom Rolled Omelet
This is a gorgeous rolled omelet decorated with pink sausage to resemble cherry blossoms. It’s a visually stunning dish that’s perfect for spring picnics or special occasions.
Ingredients- 10 large fresh eggs
- 3 stalks of scallions, finely chopped
- 1/2 piece of pink sausage
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
Today, we’re making a special rolled omelet that looks like beautiful cherry blossoms. It’s a delightful dish for children’s lunchboxes or festive meals.
Step 2
Slice the pink sausage thinly, about 0.5cm thick. We’re creating flower petals, so try to make the slices not too thick.
Step 3
Make small cuts into the thin slices of pink sausage to shape them like cherry blossom petals. Be gentle when cutting so the sausage doesn’t break.
Step 4
Crack the 10 eggs into a bowl and separate the yolks from the whites. Whisk the yolks thoroughly. Pour a thin layer of the yolk mixture into a heated pan and cook. Once set, gently roll it up.
Step 5
Evenly sprinkle the finely chopped scallions over the rolled yolk omelet. The green scallions add a fresh touch of color. Roll up the omelet once more.
Step 6
Carefully place the prepared cherry blossom-shaped pink sausage pieces onto the rolled omelet. Gently roll everything together, ensuring the sausage pieces stay in place and the roll is tight.
Step 7
Once all ingredients are rolled together, move the cherry blossom omelet to the edge of the pan and cook until golden brown all over. Cooking over low heat ensures the inside is thoroughly cooked.
Step 8
Let the finished cherry blossom omelet cool slightly, then slice it into bite-sized pieces (about 1.5-2cm thick). Arrange them beautifully on a plate. It’s almost too pretty to eat!
