Step 2
Gently rinse the prepared radish jangajji under running water and pat it dry. Then, slice it into bite-sized pieces (about 1-2 cm wide). Slicing them slightly thicker helps maintain a good texture.
Step 3
Place the sliced radish jangajji in a bowl. Add the chopped green onions and red pepper flakes. Mix the ingredients first to ensure the seasonings begin to coat the radish.
Step 4
Next, add the minced garlic, nutty sesame seeds, and fragrant sesame oil. Ensure all the seasonings are ready to create a harmonious blend.
Step 5
Now, gently toss and mix all the ingredients with your hands. Be careful not to mix too vigorously, as this can affect the fresh flavor. A gentle mixing is key. Your delicious seasoned radish jangajji is now complete!
Step 6
Transfer the finished seasoned radish jangajji to a serving plate. Sprinkle some extra sesame seeds on top for an even more appealing presentation. This dish is ready to be a fantastic addition to your dinner table.
Step 7
This seasoned jangajji, with its wonderfully chewy and crisp texture, makes an excellent banchan (side dish). Having this on hand will relieve your worries about side dishes for days, making it a truly satisfying addition to your kitchen.
Step 8
I made this seasoned radish jangajji for lunch yesterday, and the response was overwhelmingly positive! I shared some with my neighbor, and she was so intrigued by the jangajji that she asked for the recipe. Everyone appreciates how easy it is to make since it doesn’t require any cooking and uses simple ingredients.
