Main Ingredients

  • Dried shredded squid 100g
  • A little cooking oil (for coating the pan)

Seasoning

  • Soy sauce 1/2 Tbsp
  • Oligosaccharide 2 Tbsp
  • Sesame seeds, sprinkled (for garnish)

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

First, prepare 100g of dried shredded squid. Place the shredded squid in a large bowl. Add 1/2 Tbsp of soy sauce and a little cooking oil. Before turning on the heat, gently mix the ingredients with your hands until the seasoning is evenly distributed on the squid. Marinating beforehand helps the flavors penetrate better.

Step 1

Step 2

Now, heat a pan over low heat. Add the pre-marinated shredded squid. Stir-fry quickly over low heat, about 1-2 minutes, while gently tossing to keep the characteristic curly shape. Be careful not to burn it, as overcooking can make it tough!

Step 2

Step 3

Once the shredded squid looks slightly chewy, turn off the heat. While the pan is still warm, drizzle 2 Tbsp of oligosaccharide over the squid. Gently mix to coat the squid with the oligosaccharide; the residual heat will help it melt and create a glossy finish. Finish by sprinkling sesame seeds on top for a nutty flavor. Enjoy!
