Ingredients
  • 50g Chicken Breast: Use fresh, lean chicken breast.
  • 75g Roasted Oat Flour: Adds a nutty flavor. You can lightly toast regular oats and grind them.
  • 37g Canola Oil: A vegetable oil for a tender texture. Can be substituted with olive or coconut oil.
  • 15g Honey: A natural sweetener for a subtle sweetness. Use in moderation for pets.

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

First, prepare the chicken breast. Bring a pot of water to a boil, add the whole chicken breast, and cook until thoroughly done. Once cooked, remove the chicken, let it cool slightly, then shred or cut it into small pieces.

Step 2

Place the shredded chicken breast into a blender or food processor. Add the measured canola oil and honey. Blend until you achieve a smooth paste. Ensure there are no lumps.

Step 3

Sift the roasted oat flour into the chicken mixture. Gently mix using a spatula, holding it vertically and cutting through the mixture as if you were splitting it. Be careful not to overmix, as this can make the cookies tough.

Step 4

Once the dough comes together, place it on plastic wrap and roll it tightly like a sushi roll to form a log. Freeze for about 1 hour until firm. This makes slicing much easier.

Step 5

Remove the firm dough from the freezer and slice it into uniform 7mm thick rounds. Arrange the cookie slices on a baking sheet, leaving some space between them. Try to keep the thickness consistent to avoid breakage.

Step 6

Bake in a preheated oven at 170°C (340°F) for about 10 minutes, or until lightly golden brown. Baking time may vary depending on your oven. Let them cool completely before serving to yourself or your pets!
