    • 150g Milk
    • 200g Pear

    Pear Tangerine Jelly

    • 350g Pear
    • 250ml Tangerine Juice
    • 2 Tbsp Lemon Juice
    • 15g Sugar
    • 8g Gelatin

    Garnish Pear

    • 1/2 Pear

    Cooking Instructions

    Step 1

    * Making Condensed Milk Pear Milk Jam *
First, sterilize a glass jar by boiling it in water to prepare it for the jam. Remove the seeds and peel from the pear, then cut it into chunks.

    Step 1

    Step 2

Place the prepared pear chunks and the specified amount of condensed milk into a blender.

    Step 2

    Step 3

Add only 60g of the milk to the blender with the other ingredients and blend until everything is smooth and finely pureed.

    Step 3

    Step 4

Transfer the blended pear mixture to a saucepan. Add the remaining milk and sugar. Gently simmer over low heat.

    Step 4

    Step 5

Continuously stir with a wooden spatula, ensuring the mixture doesn’t stick to the bottom, and let it simmer slowly.

    Step 5

    Step 6

The jam is ready when you can draw a line with your spatula and see the bottom of the pan clearly. Turn off the heat and immediately pour the hot jam into the sterilized jar.

    Step 6

    Step 7

Seal the jar tightly with its lid and invert it. Let it cool completely at room temperature. This vacuum sealing method helps preserve the jam longer.

    Step 7

    Step 8

Remember, the jam will thicken further as it cools. Avoid overcooking it while hot, as it can become too stiff! It’s best to turn off the heat when it reaches the desired consistency.

    Step 8

    Step 9

    * Making Pear Milk Ice *
Now, let’s prepare the Pear Milk Ice, which will be the base of our bingsu. Combine the specified amounts of pear, condensed milk, and milk in a blender and blend until very smooth.

    Step 9

    Step 10

Pour the smooth pear mixture into a clean empty milk carton, close it, and freeze for at least 3 hours, or until completely solid. Your bingsu ice base is ready!

    Step 10

    Step 11

    * Making Pear Tangerine Jelly *
Place 350g of pear into a blender and puree until smooth. Strain the pureed pear through a sieve into a saucepan, discarding any large pulp to get clear pear juice.

    Step 11

    Step 12

Add the tangerine juice, lemon juice, and sugar to the saucepan with the pear juice and mix well.

    Step 12

    Step 13

In a separate small bowl, soak the 8g of gelatin in cold water for about 10 minutes until it becomes soft and bloomed.

    Step 13

    Step 14

Add the bloomed gelatin to the saucepan. Over low heat, stir gently with a spatula until the gelatin is completely dissolved.

    Step 14

    Step 15

Once the jelly mixture begins to simmer (do not boil vigorously), turn off the heat immediately. Skim off any white foam that has risen to the surface for a clear jelly.

    Step 15

    Step 16

Pour the finished jelly mixture into a shallow container and refrigerate for about 2 hours, or until set. Your wobbly and delicious Pear Tangerine Jelly is complete!

    Step 16

    Step 17

    * Assembling the Bingsu *
All components are now ready! For the garnish, remove the seeds and peel from the remaining half pear and cut it into bite-sized pieces.

    Step 17

    Step 18

Remove the frozen Pear Milk Ice from the carton. Use a knife to shave or cut it into desired bingsu ice flakes. Frozen pear ice shaves quite smoothly with a knife, requiring minimal force!

    Step 18

    Step 19

Arrange the shaved Pear Milk Ice attractively in a serving bowl.

    Step 19

    Step 20

Cut the set Pear Tangerine Jelly into bite-sized cubes. Use a spoon to gently scoop and place the jelly pieces on top of the bingsu. The jelly is soft and holds its shape well.

    Step 20

    Step 21

Finally, drizzle the homemade Condensed Milk Pear Milk Jam over the bingsu to your taste, and add the fresh pear pieces. The Condensed Milk Pear Milk Jam can be used like regular condensed milk to adjust the sweetness of your bingsu according to your preference.

    Step 21

    Step 22

Enjoy your incredibly refreshing and sweet Pear Condensed Milk Bingsu – the perfect treat to beat the heat!
