  • 1/2 ripe avocado
  • 1 fresh egg
  • 1 handful baby greens, washed and drained
  • 1/2 Tbsp cream cheese

Special Soy Sauce (Serves 2-3)

  • 2 Tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 Tbsp water
  • 1/2 Tbsp sugar
  • 1/2 Tbsp minced garlic

First, let’s prepare the special soy sauce that will add flavor to your rice bowl. In a small saucepan, combine 2 Tbsp soy sauce, 2 Tbsp water, 1/2 Tbsp sugar, and 1/2 Tbsp minced garlic. Stir well to mix.

Add the thinly sliced 1/8 onion to the sauce ingredients. This onion will bring sweetness and depth to the sauce.

Place the saucepan over low heat and gently simmer the sauce. Be careful not to burn it. Cook for about 2-3 minutes until the onions become translucent and the sauce slightly thickens. This process enhances the rich flavor.

Now, let’s prepare the avocado. Cut a ripe avocado in half lengthwise and remove the pit. You can easily remove it by inserting the tip of a knife into the pit and twisting. Peel the avocado and slice it into bite-sized pieces. Heat a little cooking oil in a separate frying pan, and once preheated, carefully crack in the fresh egg to make a sunny-side-up egg. A runny yolk will make it even more delicious when mixed with the rice.
