Sandwich Ingredients- 200g Cabbage
- 30g Carrot
- 2 Korean Green Chili Peppers (or mild green peppers)
- 1/4 Onion
- 2 Tbsp Corn Kernels
- 2 Crab Sticks
For Washing Cabbage- 1 Tbsp Vinegar
Coleslaw Dressing Ingredients- 7 Tbsp Mayonnaise
- 1 Tbsp Olive Oil
- 1 Tbsp Sugar (if using honey mustard sauce)
- 1 Tbsp Vinegar
- 1 Tbsp Lemon Juice
- 0.5 Tbsp Mustard Sauce
- 0.3 Tbsp Salt
- A pinch of White Pepper
- 1 Tbsp Vinegar

- 1 Tbsp Sugar (if using honey mustard sauce)
- 1 Tbsp Vinegar
- 1 Tbsp Lemon Juice
- 0.5 Tbsp Mustard Sauce
- 0.3 Tbsp Salt
- A pinch of White Pepper
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
Feel free to add any leftover vegetables from your refrigerator to create a personalized coleslaw!
Step 2
Prepare half a head of cabbage. Cut it into two halves, remove the hard core, and then separate about 5 leaves. Cabbage can sometimes have pesticide residue, so soak the leaves in water with 1 tablespoon of vinegar for 5-10 minutes. Afterwards, rinse them thoroughly under running water.
Step 3
After soaking, rinse the cabbage leaves again under running water and then shred them thinly.
Step 4
To ensure the coleslaw stays crisp, use a salad spinner to thoroughly remove excess water from the shredded cabbage. Alternatively, you can pat it dry with paper towels.
Step 5
Shred the cabbage and finely mince the other vegetables like carrots, green chili peppers, and onion. Rinse the corn kernels under water and drain them well.
Step 6
In a large bowl, combine the shredded cabbage and all the prepared vegetables. Add 7 tablespoons of mayonnaise and 1 tablespoon of olive oil. For sweetness, add 1 tablespoon of sugar. Note: If you are using honey mustard sauce, 1 tablespoon of sugar is sufficient. However, if you’re using regular mustard sauce, you might want to increase the sugar to about 2 tablespoons for a sweeter taste.
Step 7
Next, add 1 tablespoon of vinegar, 0.5 tablespoon of mustard sauce, and 1 tablespoon of lemon juice. If you don’t have lemon juice, you can substitute it with more vinegar.
Step 8
Finally, season with 0.3 tablespoons of salt and a pinch of white pepper. If white pepper is unavailable, regular black pepper will also work well.
Step 9
Mix everything together thoroughly until well combined. Your delicious and crisp coleslaw is ready! It’s so addictive, you’ll find it hard to stop eating it – a truly irresistible salad.
