Main Ingredients
- 3 cloves garlic
- 250g fresh bean sprouts
Seasoning
- 1 Tbsp chili oil
- 1 Tbsp cooking oil
- 1 Tbsp oyster sauce
- Pinch of black pepper
- 1 Tbsp chili oil
- 1 Tbsp cooking oil
- 1 Tbsp oyster sauce
- Pinch of black pepper
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, peel the 3 cloves of garlic and slice them thinly into slivers. Slicing them like you would for Aglio e Olio pasta will enhance the flavor beautifully.
Step 2
Heat a pan over medium heat. Add 1 tablespoon of cooking oil and 1 tablespoon of chili oil. Once the oils are warm, add the sliced garlic and stir-fry until golden brown and fragrant, being careful not to burn it. You’ll smell a wonderful garlic aroma.
Step 3
Once the garlic is golden, add the 250g of bean sprouts, which should be washed and drained. The key is to keep them crisp, so avoid overcooking them.
Step 4
Stir the bean sprouts briefly once, then drizzle 1 tablespoon of oyster sauce evenly over them. Quickly mix everything together to ensure the sauce coats the bean sprouts well.
Step 5
Turn off the heat just before the bean sprouts become completely limp. Finish by sprinkling a pinch of black pepper for extra aroma. Your crispy and delicious stir-fried bean sprouts are ready! They taste best served immediately while hot.
