Key Ingredients- 3 Fresh Eggs
- 2 Strips Thick-Cut Bacon
- Pinch of Salt
- Pinch of Black Pepper
- A little Cooking Oil
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, prepare the bacon. Cut the bacon strips into bite-sized pieces, about 2-3 cm wide, according to your preference. It’s recommended to cut them slightly thick so they don’t break easily when cooked.
Step 2
Lightly grease a preheated pan with cooking oil, then start cooking the bacon pieces until they are golden brown and slightly crispy. Bacon releases its own fat as it cooks, so you don’t need much oil initially. Cook over medium-low heat slowly until it reaches your desired crispiness. You can also dab away excess bacon grease with a paper towel.
Step 3
Once the bacon is nearly done, crack the eggs into the empty spaces in the pan to fry. Cook the eggs to your liking – sunny-side up with a runny yolk, or fully cooked through. Cooking the eggs in the rendered bacon fat will add extra flavor.
Step 4
Arrange the cooked bacon and fried eggs attractively on a plate. Season with a pinch of salt and black pepper to taste. Enjoy immediately while hot to experience the wonderful contrast of crispy bacon and savory eggs.
