Make Your Own Special Kadaif Noodles at Home!
Create your own delicate and crispy kadaif noodles right in your kitchen. These noodles are incredibly versatile, perfect for fried dishes or even desserts. This recipe uses simple ingredients and is designed for anyone to follow with ease.
Kadaif Noodle Dough Ingredients
- 50g all-purpose flour
- 110g water (warm)
- 27.5g cornstarch
- 3g salt
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, in a bowl, add 50g of all-purpose flour. Gradually pour in 50g of warm water while whisking or stirring with a spatula to prevent lumps. It’s important to create a smooth batter.
Step 2
Once the flour is somewhat mixed, add 27.5g of cornstarch and 3g of salt. Stir again until all ingredients are well combined. You should have a slightly thin but smooth batter.
Step 3
Transfer the finished batter into a piping bag. Cut a small opening at the tip of the piping bag. On medium heat, slowly pipe the batter onto the pan in a circular motion, creating thin, thread-like noodles. Piping at a consistent speed is key to achieving fine strands. You can create round shapes or any other pattern you desire.
Step 4
Spread the piped batter evenly onto a heated frying pan, ensuring the strands do not overlap. Cook over low heat, being careful not to burn them. The noodles are done when they turn opaque white.
Step 5
Your kadaif noodles are ready! Carefully remove them from the pan and use them in your favorite dishes. Be mindful not to overcook them, as they can become tough.
Step 6
I used these kadaif noodles to make Dubai chocolate. The crispy texture of the kadaif noodles complements the chocolate, creating a unique dessert experience.
