Ingredients
  • 1 Croissant
  • 1 slice Emmental cheese (Seoul Milk)
  • 1-2 slices Prosciutto
  • 1/2 Avocado
  • 1/2 Tomato
  • 5-6 leaves Arugula

Sauce & Seasoning
  • 1 tsp Whole grain mustard
  • 1 tsp Mayonnaise

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

First, carefully slice the croissant in half horizontally using a sharp knife. In a small bowl, mix together 1 teaspoon of whole grain mustard and 1 teaspoon of mayonnaise. Spread this delicious sauce evenly onto the cut surfaces of both halves of the croissant. This will add a wonderful layer of flavor.

Step 2

Lightly toast the prosciutto slices in a warm skillet. You don’t need to cook them for too long; just a brief toast will enhance their savory aroma and taste. Once lightly toasted, arrange the prosciutto slices onto the sauced bottom half of the croissant.

Step 3

Place the slice of Seoul Milk Emmental cheese directly on top of the warm prosciutto. The residual heat from the prosciutto will gently melt the cheese, making it wonderfully creamy and rich.

Step 4

Now, it’s time to add the fresh elements. Arrange thin slices of tomato (about half of a medium tomato) and creamy mashed avocado (about half an avocado) on top of the melted cheese. You can also use sliced avocado if you prefer.

Step 5

Finally, generously top with fresh, aromatic arugula leaves (about 5-6 leaves). The slightly peppery and fresh notes of the arugula balance the richness of the cheese and prosciutto. Place the top half of the croissant on top to complete your perfectly crispy and moist croissant sandwich! Enjoy your delicious creation!
