Before frying, a crucial step for achieving extra crispiness is to coat the surface of the dumplings with cooking oil. Either place the dumplings in a wide bowl and gently toss, or use a pastry brush to meticulously coat all sides of the dumplings with cooking oil. This oil coating will help the dumpling wrappers turn golden brown and wonderfully crisp.

Now, preheat your air fryer, then place the prepared dumplings inside and begin cooking. For the first stage, cook them at 180°C (350°F) for 10 minutes. Once the dumplings are partially cooked and the surface is starting to turn lightly golden, flip them over. Then, continue to cook at 180°C (350°F) for another 5 minutes. This will result in perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside pan-fried dumplings. (Please adjust the time and temperature according to your air fryer model.)
