Sandwich Ingredients
  • 2 slices of toasted bread
  • 2 Tbsp Basic Sauce
  • 1 tomato (thinly sliced)
  • 10 lettuce leaves
  • 2 cabbage leaves (thinly shredded)
  • 1 frozen pork cutlet
  • 1 slice of cheese

Pork Cutlet Mayo Sauce
  • 1 Tbsp store-bought tonkatsu sauce
  • 1 Tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1/2 tsp oligosaccharide

Basic Sauce (approx. 10 servings)
  • 5 Tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 Tbsp whole grain mustard (adjust to taste)
  • 2.5 Tbsp plain yogurt (spoonable type)

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

Spread 1 tablespoon of the Basic Sauce evenly onto the inner side of each slice of toasted bread. The lightly toasted bread will absorb the sauce well, enhancing its flavor.

Step 2

Place one slice of the sauced bread onto parchment paper or a cutting board. Lay a slice of cheese on top. The cheese will melt slightly from the warmth of the pork cutlet, adding richness.

Step 3

Prepare your crispy fried or air-fried pork cutlet. Spread 1 tablespoon of the Pork Cutlet Mayo Sauce on both sides of the cutlet, then carefully place it on top of the cheese. This sauce will elevate the cutlet’s flavor.

Step 4

Generously pile the thinly shredded cabbage on top of the pork cutlet. The crispiness of the cabbage will cut through the richness and add freshness.

Step 5

Arrange the thinly sliced tomatoes over the shredded cabbage. The tomato’s tanginess will further enrich the sandwich’s overall flavor profile.

Step 6

Finally, add plenty of fresh lettuce leaves. Top with the remaining slice of bread, sauce-side down. Gently press down to settle the ingredients.

Step 7

Wrap the sandwich securely with parchment paper. This prevents the ingredients from spilling out, making it easy to eat. Cut the wrapped sandwich in half into your desired serving size. Use a firm, pressing motion with your knife to avoid squishing the fillings.

Step 8

Your delicious Pork Cutlet Sandwich is ready! Enjoy this hearty and satisfying creation.
