Cooking Instructions

First, prepare your salad greens. Wash and thoroughly dry a generous handful of your favorite greens – think crisp lettuce, romaine, red cabbage, vitamin greens, chicory, or radicchio. Using a pre-mixed salad blend from the grocery store is a convenient option for variety.

In a bowl, combine tempura flour (or all-purpose flour) with water, adding the water gradually until you achieve a pourable consistency – it should flow smoothly but not be too watery. Aim for about 1 cup of flour and adjust water as needed.

Heat a generous amount of cooking oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat. Carefully fry your thinly sliced potato strips until they are golden brown and wonderfully crisp.
