Ingredients
  • 2 pieces of puffed rice snacks (choose your favorite shape and size)
  • 2 Tbsp tomato sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 slice of cheddar cheese

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

First, take out two pieces of your puffed rice snacks and place them side-by-side on a plate. These will serve as the base for our mini pizzas. This is a great way to give new life to snacks that have become a bit too hard.

Step 2

On each piece of puffed rice, spread 1 tablespoon of tomato sauce. Make sure to cover most of the surface, extending close to the edges, to ensure a good balance of flavors in every bite.

Step 3

Now, carefully place one slice of cheddar cheese on top of the tomato sauce-covered puffed rice. You can tear or fold the cheese slice to fit the shape of the puffed rice for a neat presentation.

Step 4

Finally, microwave the puffed rice pizzas for about 20 seconds, or until the cheese is just melted. Be careful not to overcook, as this can make the puffed rice lose its crispiness. You want the cheese warm and gooey, but the base still wonderfully crunchy!
