Ingredients

  • 1 Tortilla
  • 1/2 Tbsp Butter
  • 2 Tbsp Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 1/2 Tbsp Minced Garlic

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

First, melt the 1/2 Tbsp of butter by microwaving it for about 15-20 seconds. Be careful not to overheat it, as it can burn.

Step 1

Step 2

Add the 1/2 Tbsp of minced garlic and 2 Tbsp of sweetened condensed milk to the melted butter. The condensed milk adds a subtle sweetness and rich flavor.

Step 2

Step 3

In a small bowl, thoroughly mix the ingredients using a spoon or whisk until a smooth garlic butter sauce is formed. Ensuring there are no lumps is key for an even spread.

Step 3

Step 4

Place the tortilla on a clean plate or cutting board. Spread the prepared garlic butter sauce thinly and evenly over the entire surface of the tortilla, all the way to the edges, for maximum flavor in every bite.

Step 4

Step 5

Preheat your oven or air fryer to 180°C (350°F). Place the buttered tortilla inside and bake for approximately 5-8 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy. Keep an eye on it to prevent burning; achieving a crispy texture is the goal.

Step 5

Step 6

Once baked, carefully remove the tortilla garlic chips. Let them cool slightly for a minute before cutting them into desired serving pieces (e.g., triangles or squares). They are at their crispiest when slightly cooled.
